Why do I see "This email is already registered" during sign-up or log-in? (3 minute read)

There are two possible reasons why you may be seeing the error code "This email is already registered" during sign-up or log-in.

Option 1: You already have an account, but accidentally clicked the "Create account" button when you should have clicked "Log in."

If you already have an account with Kanpla, simply click "Log In" instead of "Create Account" and use the credentials you’ve already registered with.

Option 2: You’re trying to create a new account with an email that already exists.

Your email may already be registered in the Kanpla system from a previous use at another salesplace. We partner with many salesplaces operating within the Kanpla system.

To resolve this, reset your password:

  1. Open the Kanpla app or visit app.kanpla.io.

  2. Click "Log In."

  3. Enter your email address.

  4. Click "Forgot Password?"

  5. Enter your email again and click "Reset Password."

You’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password.

Once you’ve logged in, please note that you may be connected to your previous salesplace. If this happens, please follow the instructions [here] to add your new salesplace.
