In Kanpla, users can easily and quickly change schools. This article guides you through the process based on different scenarios.
Did your child change schools, or have you accidentally selected the wrong school?
Open Kanpla and go to "My Account" in the top right corner.
Click on "+ Add another user".
Here, you will enter your child's name, select the new school, grade, and class, and click on "Create User".
Delete the user associated with the old school by scrolling to the bottom of "Edit" under "My Account" and clicking on the red delete button.
You have now switched your child's school and can proceed to order meals through Kanpla.
Did your child chang schools during the summer holidays?
If your child has changed schools since summer vacation and message when opening Kanpla:
Then you need to do the following:
Choose any grade and class and then click "Confirm" to access your account.
It doesn't matter which grade and class you choose since you will need to change the school afterward.
Click on "+ Add another user" under "My Account".
Here, you will enter your child's name, select the new school, grade, and class, and click "Create User".
Delete the user associated with the old school by scrolling to the bottom of "Edit" under "My Account" and clicking on the red delete button.
You have now switched your child's school and can proceed to order meals through Kanpla.
What if your child's school is not one of the options?
If you cannot find your child's school when selecting the sales location, it means that the school's food provider has its own Kanpla app. Therefore, you need to register your child in the provider's own app.
From primary to middle school or from middle school to high school
In a few cases, primary school, middle school, and high school have separate sales locations/schools in Kanpla. So if, for example, your child has moved from 3rd to 4th grade over the summer vacation and you cannot select a grade higher than 3rd grade when choosing the grade, it is likely due to this. Therefore, you need to switch your child's school to "school's name + middle school/4th-grade-". This is done the same way as a regular school change by following the steps described under "My child has changed schools, or I have selected the wrong school."
